Welcome in!
I am a writer, poet, educator and entrepreneur, deeply passionate about helping others tap into their fullest creative potential. My work has been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and The Sunday Times Magazine, but what excites me most is helping others connect to their unique voice and vision.
I teach at the intersection of creativity and nourishment, focusing on how women can be both fortified and self-expressed. In her experience, art has the power to transform and is holy, especially the art we have the courage to bring forth from within us.
If you've ever felt there are jewels inside you, waiting to be uncovered but aren’t sure where to start, we’re so glad you’re here.

Hi! I’m Sophie.
I was born and raised in Australia, before moving to Manhattan at the age of 23 where I promptly quit modeling. I threw myself into art and writing, churning out screenplays, children’s books, oil paintings and a publishing imprint called Paper Castle Press before publishing my first book, The Beginning of an Inexplicable Journey at 25.
That same year, I met my soul mate in NYC, and we were married four months later. I studied nutrition and energy healing before launching a postpartum food delivery business when my son was three, and gave birth to my second child after six years of secondary infertility. This odyssey required that I call upon deep reserves of self worth, as well as being the match that lit a bonfire of poems within me.
Today I am most interested in what I perceive to be the conditions for a life well lived: the intersection of creativity and nourishment. For me this includes a poetic approach to living, prioritizing nourishment, community, self-respect, and my ever-present occupation, courting the muse. If I’m not fully creative, I am not fully myself.
We live between Southern California, upstate New York and France. Home is a town of orange groves and pink mountains with a labradoodle named Anais Nin, a cat named Pearl and the ocean nearby.
